Scott Mountain Bike Frames

Scott mountain bike frames are among the best in the industry. Each of its models is designed to maximize the riding experience at every level of ability and seriousness.

Many of the elite Scott mountain bike frames -- the ones designed for competition -- are made from HMF carbon. This increases stiffness by 20%, and is light without having too much flex. Scott also uses what it calls an integrated moulding process (IMP) to make a the head-top-down tube section of the frame a single piece, building in reinforced areas as required.

The Scott Scale frames are lighter, and use CR1 carbon technology as well as the HMF carbon fiber. The Cyclocross series is generally aluminum with a carbon fork, for a great combination of performance and price.

Scott also makes a variety of traditional mountain bike frames, in its Genius, Ransom, and Aspect series. There’s the Gambler model that’s a part of the DH/Freeride series, the Voltage range of dirt and jump bikes, and the specially-designed Contessa series for women (featuring the company’s IMP4 carbon technology so it will be light and stiff). Whatever the model, a Scott mountain bike frame is guaranteed to be one of the best in the business.
